Maths
- Another investigation today thinking about the number 7. Lots of us turned 7 this year (so old!) and so your challenge is the create different number sentences, using all of your operations, that give you the number 7.
- You have then got a square challenge to see how many different positions you can colour in the blue and yellow or red and green. Trial and improvement to find as many as possible!

- Can you have someone at home to read you the dictation sentences (p54-55).
- Let them test you on some of the words from this week.

Writing
- Listen to Chapter 5 again taking notes on key points.
- Look through the ‘diary writing must’ slides to remind yourself on how to write a diary.
- Continue writing your diary entry from the events from Chapter 5. Remember to write from the perspective of your chosen character.
- Check your writing with the success criteria.

- We’re learning some sea shanties today. As you hopefully know from our word of the day today, a shanty is a song that was usually sung by a sailor or pirate.
- Follow the videos on today’s page which have the lyrics on them. Sing along with the songs ready for our pirate days in a couple of weeks.
