• Reminder of the crocodiles that like to eat the biggest length; greater than, smaller than
• Complete the comparing activities looking carefully at the measurements – are they cm or m?

10:30 – 10:45

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 5 (p18) - ee sound spelt ey

• Have someone at home read you the dictation sentences (p54-55) remembering the ey rule.
• Have a go at spelling 4 words in a row correctly.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

•  Spot of the noun phrases in then sentences and write them in your book.
• Create a noun phrase mind maps for each of the Great Fire of London pictures. Look at the example for help.
• Use a thesaurus (book or online) to help you find a range of adjectives.

12:00 – 1:00

Lunch

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

Reading

•  Re-read or listen again to Chapter 6 ‘Moon-Face and the Slippery-Slip’.
• Draw a picture of Moon-Face in the centre of your page.
• Around your picture write as many different adjectives as you can to describe this new character.

1:30 – 3:00

Enquiry

• Watch the video explaining today’s enquiry lesson.
• Use materials in your house – cardboard, paper, lego bricks, minecraft, tin cans, lolly sticks etc. To make different houses. Which material would make the best house?
• Finish the video to look at the houses that were rebuilt.
