It was so lovely to see so many of your lovely faces on our zooms yesterday! We already can't wait to talk to you again on zoom this morning.
I hope you had fun exploring the galleries yesterday and spotted some of the famous van Gogh masterpieces that we have found out about so far.

Here is your suggested timetable for the day

Maths

- Watch the video ‘Add Equal Groups’ on today’s page.
- Complete the questions showing your understanding that multiplication is the same as repeated addition.
- Have a go at the reasoning and problem solving questions.

Phonics/SPaG

- Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break
|
- Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

|
- Time to start writing your biography on Vincent van Gogh. Use your facts from Monday (or the planning sheet provided) to write facts under the subheadings:
- Personal Information
- Early Life
- Where did he paint?
Remember: you don't have to write down all the facts! Pick the ones you find the most interesting.
- Use the model biography to help you structure your biography as well as the features checklist and word bank.

- Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading
|
- Reread or listen to Miss Williams read ‘The Most Magnificent Thing’ focusing on the word choices of the author.
- Go through the story and fill in the table of word types, listing all the nouns, adjectives and verbs you spot.

Enquiry

- Take a look at PowerPoint explaining the use of lines in art.
- Watch the video of Mrs Atkins explaining how to use pencil to create different shades.
- Have a go creating the different shades in the boxes starting with light and gradually getting darker.
- Now try to shade the leaf using your practise of creating light and dark with pencil.
- Finally have a go at recreating the different textures using just a pencil.
