What does it mean?

Can you think of synonyms and antonyms?

What word class does it belong to: adjectives, verbs, nouns or adverbs?

How many syllables does the word have?

Can you include it in a sentence? Remember capital letters and punctuation.

Then have a go at the Maths Worksheet and use Maths Answers to check how you did (both in Learning Resources).

Uplevelling your diary

Read through your diary from yesterday and choose ONE PARAGRAPH that you think could be improved. It may be a paragraph that does not have many skills in there. This is the paragraph that you will be upleveling today.

The PowerPoint will guide you on how to uplevel your sentences and paragraph.

12:30 - 13:30 - Lunch Time

Afternoon - Wider Curriculum

DT

Yesterday you cooked a delicious, savoury meal with an adult. Today, you are going to evaluate your meal based on ingredients, texture, taste and appearance.

Take a look at the Evaluation Frame in Learning Resources - it will help you to evaluate your product by giving ingredients, texture, taste and appearance a score out of 10. The bigger your quadrilateral, the more successful you have been!

After you have finished your frame, complete a written evaluation. Describe the ingredients, texture, taste and appearance using the Word Bank to help you. You should write in paragraphs when you discuss your ingredients, texture, taste and appearance. Also think about how you can improve your dish for next time. What would you do differently?
