What does it mean? Can you look it up in the dictionary?

Enquiry
- Watch the video of the London streets in 1666. What do you notice? Write in the bubbles or in your books some thoughts of what you see and think.
- Use what you have seen in the video and the pictures to draw a typical street in 1666.
- Now we’re thinking about what we would have changed to prevent the Fire of London.
- The houses were too close together, there was no running water, the top floors poked out of the front so fire could jump across the street.
- Think about these things that were wrong – draw a street, still in Tudor style, that would have made it more difficult for the fire to spread.
