Watch the video on Tapestry of our speed sounds.

You will have a phonics activity on Tapestry for your phonics group. Watch the sound video and complete the activities for your new sound.

Your new phonics books are still on Tapestry so have a go at reading your book.

We have also included an additional document with ideas on how to keep phonics active and engaging.

Maths

We will be starting our brand new theme of subtraction today. Have a look at some of the vocabulary that we will be using over the next couple of weeks. Watch Miss Wilson’s video of subtracting using items around about our houses.

Use pasta/beads etc. to complete the subtraction number sentences.

Remember to say your stem sentences to help you solve each question ‘First there were 15, then 4 were taken away. Now I have 11.
