Let's keep those amazing brains of yours moving with some quick fire questions. Use this website
https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/daily10
You can chose the level and the area that you want to be quizzed on.

Today we are going to be practising our column subtraction. Key points to remember here are that when we are writing the question out in our books we have to make sure that the hundreds are in the same column, the tens and the ones as well. Al say to yourself top number subtract lower one and not the other way around. If you chose the spicy or hot challenges, you will need to exchange sometimes. This video will help you if you need a quick reminder. There will also be some word problems.

The Frog Prince finally got his happily ever after … or did he?
In the document below, you will find a picture of him. He is sat where he has always wanted to be, in his beloved pond on one of his precious lily pads!
The question is, what do you think he is daydreaming about?
1200 - 1300 - Lunch
1300 - Enquiry
Use the Hold a Domesday Survey document to carry out a household survey. What type of home do you live in? How many rooms does it have? Who lives there and how old are they? What job do they do? Get a parent's permission to contact friends and carry out the survey with them. Are there any other questions you would like to ask? Collect your data using the tables provided.
Look at the Illuminated Manuscripts powerpoint. What are they? Which ancient language does the word 'illuminated' derive from? Look at the example letters for inspiration when you create your very own Domesday Book.
Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7DmtECcnIA for instructions on how to make your pages look very old.
Use the Make Your Own Illuminated Manuscript instructions document to help you create your very own Domesday Book. Use the data you have collected. It may take a couple of afternoons to do this well.
See documents below for full task.
More exciting things to come tomorrow,
Mr Woodsell, Miss Chapman and Mrs Lee :-)
