Reading :Pick your own book and spend some time escaping to another world. Maybe you even have a joke book you can dip into. Let us know if you find a really good one that you think would make us all laugh. We might even share it with the rest of Year 4 over this week.
Maths : Today's lesson is called 'Introducing line graphs'. There are still additional activities on Monday's documents if you didn't have the chance yet. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/

English
Head over to the Year 4 Virtual Library and watch Week 5 Lesson 3 video where I read up to page 91.
Read through the PowerPoint below or watch the teaching video should you wish to use that instead.
By the end of the week you should have an instruction leaflet on how to care for and train a sea monkey.
Today’s task it to plan your information leaflet!
Here is your success criteria of features:
Today you need to decide on what you want your subheadings to be! What do you think your information leaflet should include? These are all the things someone who is buying a Sea Monkey would need to know:
What do they eat?
What do they drink?
How often do they eat and drink?
How much space do they need to live in?
Do they prefer a hot or cold environment?
What do they sleep on? How often do they sleep?
Do they like to play? Are there common toys they like?
Can you make them look pretty?
How do you stop them from smelling so badly?
Can you dye their fur a different colour?
Are they friendly?
How do you get them to listen to you?
What training techniques are best to use?
Do you need treats to train them?
You can’t include everything in your leaflet. It is time for you to decide what you think are the most important things to include!
Once you have decided, you need to make sure you have the answers to those questions! The book doesn’t go into too much detail so this is where you need to use your imagination and creativity – answer the questions yourselves – make it up!
