How many syllables does the word have?

Can you include it in a sentence? Remember capital letters and punctuation.

Reading

Lucy the Leprechaun

Read this short story all about Lucy the leprechaun! Answer the questions that are on the sheet. It might be helpful to underline key words in the questions to remind you of what to look for. Can you spot any speech? Can you remember the song we learnt last term? Have a sing of the song and see if you can write your own speech using the correct punctuation.

You also have the opportunity to create a different instrument to last week which is shown in the video step by step. After this, the video talks you through writing your own method for the task. Following the lesson, there is a Final Quiz to test your understanding of the lesson.
