It was lovely to brainstorm ideas with you about Gordy. We are really looking forward to seeing your 2 pictures of him, especially in his disgusting Halloween costume. Don't you think those words like: drool, putrid and ooze are wonderful? They are so onomatopoeic. Keep reminding yourselves that with perimeter you add the sides, whilst area you multiply the sides.
Keep uploading your work on Tapestry. We love to see it.

RE:
What is love?
What does ‘I love you’ mean? How do you show love? What picture do you conjure in your mind when you read or hear the word ‘love’? Today we will explore what the value and importance of love is.
PSHE:
Cigarettes and tobacco
Last week we begun looking at medicines that help us. This week we are looking at cigarettes and tobacco and the effects they have on our body. Complete the sheet or draw a person and label using the ideas on the sheet.
Philosophical Question to finish the day!
Yesterday's Q: What is the most important design feature of a winter boot?
Miss Martin: See, I think it's about the boot being waterproof. Nothing ruins a walk more for me than having damp and cold feet! I want them to be toasty and dry (I can make them more snug by adding layers of socks if necessary!) but facing a big muddy puddle without waterproof shoes is a struggle...
Miss Chapman: A winter boot needs to stay on your feet! I've had a fair few shoe fails where they have got stuck in the mud and snow thus I have had to hop around!!
Mrs. Hudson: For me a boot needs a very sturdy sole, so that you don't slide all over the very gloopy mud that is layered on the woodland paths that you can explore on your daily walks.
Today's Question: If you were designing a raincoat, what 3 elements would it need?
Spend some time during dinner or at some point in the evening, discussing this with the other people at home! We're sure there will be some interesting responses :-)
