Happy Wednesday!

 

Today we will all join together for our zoom lesson at 10:40. 

 

We will be discussing elements of the religion Islam, particularly focusing on the Qur'an. We are very lucky to have a guest parents on with us who will be happy to answer your questions so do bring some along with you laugh

Here is your suggested timetable for the day

Maths

  • Watch the video ‘Count Sides on 2D shapes’.
  • Complete the questions 1-4.
  • Extension: Have a go at the challenge question. Use straws or strips of paper to help you experiment.

Phonics/SPaG

  • Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break

  • Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

  • Today we’ll all be joining together to have our RE lesson on Zoom. Come and join us for a lesson but also for a catch up and to ask any question you have.

SPaG

  • Practise the spellings following the instructions in the table.
  • Fill in the missing words in the sentences using the spelling you have practised.

English

  • Watch the video of Miss Williams planning her persuasive letter to the villagers.
  • Plan your own letter to persuade the villagers to let van Gogh to stay in the village. You will need to think about:
  • your 3 reasons
  • expanded noun phrases to use
  • persuasive words to use

Lunch

  • Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading

  • Read or listen to Miss Williams read ‘The Storm Whale’.
  • Add thought bubbles to Noi in the different pictures.

RE

  • What is the Qur’an and why is it important to Muslims?
  • Read the rules on how to treat/read the Qur-an.
  • Look at Shahadah posters, wall hangings and plates and then design your own writing four words that are important to you.
  • Read the names/descriptions given to Allah in the Qur’an and copy some of them onto the prayer beads.

PE

  • Have a go at all the fitness activity in the fitness bingo table.
  • Why not try to create your own fitness video or get someone in your family to do your routine!
