Unit 14 (p47) suffix -tion

Have a look at the spelling planet video – it’s the last one of the term and then have a go at the activities in the spelling zone in your book.

Complete the dots and dashes for the -tion words. How many sounds do they have? Have a go at the word changers adding or taking away the suffixes.

Get someone at home to do the dictation sentences with you. Can you spell 4 -tion words correctly in a row?

Think back to your favourite land at the top of the Faraway Tree and write a few sentences to describe the land and explain why it's your favourite.

Design and label a picture of your own imaginary land which could be found a the top of the Faraway Tree. 

Create a character you might find in your imaginary land at the top of the Faraway Tree. Draw and then label with facts about your character.
