Maths

• We are doing some animal maths today!
• Firstly, we are going to help the frogs change places. Use the nrich programme to move them. You might want to use drawn pictures, your toys or you can move them electronically. Try to swap them with the fewest moves as possible.
• Then, we are thinking about Noah’s Ark. He saw 12 legs – which animals could he have seen? Remember the animals came in 2s. How many different combinations of different animals can you find?

10:30 – 10:45

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 12 (p41) adding the suffix -less

• Can you sound out the root words, how many sounds are there?
• Have a go at adding or removing the suffix -less.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

• Listen to Chapter 4 again taking notes on key points.
• Look through the ‘diary writing must’ slides to remind yourself on how to write a diary.
• Continue writing your diary entry from the events from Chapter 4. Remember to write from the perspective of your chosen character.
• Check your writing with the success criteria.

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

• Read or listen to Chapter 25 ‘In Santa Claus’s Castle’.

Enquiry

Use your flag design from a couple of weeks ago to add it onto your pirate ship.

• Today we are thinking about our final pirate ship and how it compares to your original plan.
• Can you draw a picture of your final project?
• Answer the questions on the evaluation sheet.
