Bees!

Welcome to Tuesday's Forest School learning. I wonder how many of the activities you have done so far? Don't worry if you haven't completed them all, or if you have completed them in a different order, that's fine - it's your learning.

The aim today is to find out as much as you can about bees. We would love to hear about the facts you find most interesting or see your bee creations. As usual please ask an adult to share on Twitter, remembering our online safety rules.

It's your choice how you complete this learning but here are a few suggestions...

* See if you can spot a bee in the garden, remember you won't need to touch it, just look. What is it doing? Where does it land? Does it stay in any one place for long?

* Create a picture of a bee, can you label the different parts of its body? Can you remember the name of a bee's special tongue?

* Find out what is different about a bee's eyes. Can you create a picture demonstrating how they view the world?

* Look at the Bumblebee Conservation website https://www.bumblebeeconservation.org/learning-zone/ there are some great ideas to get you started.
