Maths 

• Today we will be looking back and using our knowledge of tally charts and using them in pictograms. 
• Look carefully at the questions and answer the tally chart totalling and pictogram questions. 
• You have been given the tally data about some fruit, choose the suitable picture to use to represent these on the pictogram. 
• You are going to collect your own data today about something you choose what it is about. You could choose lego pieces, toys you have, leaves you find in the garden etc. Once you have made a tally of your data, can you turn it into a pictogram? 

10:30 – 10:45

Break 

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air. 

10:45 – 11:10

• Can you do the dots and dashes for each root word? 
• Word changers you have a mix of adding the suffix -ful or removing it to find the root word. 

11:10 – 12:00

Writing 

• Listen to Chapter 5 of Captain Cat and the Great Pirate Race.
• Remind yourself about similes by reading the slides and the example simile.
• Turn your sea monster noun phrases form yesterday into appropriate similes.
• Look at the example similes from yesterday’s example noun phrases.

12:00 – 1:00

Lunch 

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

Reading 

• Read or listen to Chapter 22 ‘Up to the Land of Toys’.
• Discuss what you think their punishment will be for pushing the wobbly man.

1:30 – 3:00

RE 

• Remind yourself about what the Bible is and why Christians retell the stories.
• Read the Good Samaritan parable and then cut and stick the parts of the story in order.
• Write a list of all the people you can think of who you should love and care for.
