Read the fictional story all about a fire in London! Answer the questions on the sheet. It might be helpful to underline key words in the questions to remind you of what to look for.  

CHALLENGE: When you are finished, have a look at the speech in this text. Remember the rules that are needed for speech and have a go at writing your own speech using these rules.

How do you know? Can you find examples of formal and informal letters at home? Ask an adult to help you. Read Jane’s Letter. Your challenge is to collect an example of each of these features into the Informal Feature Frame.
