Philosophical question: Does the colour of a person's skin make any difference?
Miss Wilson: One of our Sussex Road values is to be respectful and I think it is very important to respect and celebrate people's different cultures. However, it shouldn't matter what colour their skin is. We are lucky in England to be a wonderfully multi-cultured society which brings brilliant people and traditions to our country. This mean that people do have different skin colour but we are all people who probably have more in common than differences.
Miss Williams: I believe it's good to recognise and celebrate differences and I think that everyone deserves to be treated equally, not matter what the colour of their skin. Cultural differences should be talked about and shared to allow understanding but this should not make any difference to someone's quality of life.
