Maths
- Today we’ve got a couple of challenges – you get to use LEGO!
- Different Lego blocks are worth different amounts so look at the challenges to see if you can build the towers in different ways.
- We are also thinking about odd and even numbers. Follow the instructions to add and multiply and see if you can find the patterns.

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

SPaG - Unit 13 (p45) suffix – ment
- Have a go at the dots and dashes for the root word. Careful of those spilt digraphs.
- Try to add or take away the suffix in the world changers.

Writing
- Think back to the book ‘Captain Cat and the Great Pirate Race’ and write a review for the story.
- Answer the questions; what is the book about, who are the main characters, where is the story set and what did you like about this book?
- Give the story a rating out of five.
- Draw your favourite part of the story.

Reading
- Read or listen to Chapter 30 ‘A Plan for Beth’s Birthday’.
- Discuss what sort of birthday party you would like to have in Birthday Land.

Transition
- Learn all about your new teacher by reading the letter they have written to you. (Mrs Lee for 2AW and Miss Hooper for 2LW)
- Write a handwritten letter back to your new teacher telling them all about yourself.
- Pop your letter in to school so your new teachers can learn lots of interesting things about you.
