Hello, Year 2!
I hope you had fun experimenting with the many different shades you can make with just a single pencil yesterday. It was fantastic to see your efforts on Tapestry.
It's a great skill to keep practising
We look forward to seeing you on zoom later!

- Watch the video ‘Using the x symbol’ on today’s page.
- Complete the questions showing that you understand that the ‘x’ symbol means the same ‘groups of’.
- Write the multiplication number sentence to match the pictures of groups.
- Extension: Create your own number sentence using the ‘x’ symbol and draw the pictures to match.
- Have a go at some of the problem solving and reasoning questions. Remember to explain your answer to show you really understand the question. This can be done verbally with someone in your house.
