RE

Christians believe that Jesus’ life and teachings are inspiring. Paul, one of Jesus’ disciples (followers), remembered some very famous teachings by Jesus which can be read in the Bible (Galatians 5:22):

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”

To live safely and happily, and to help others, Jesus encourages Christians to ‘grow’ these fruits or qualities in their lives. Read RE Lesson Plan 2 to find out more.
