You will have a phonics activity on Tapestry for your phonics group. Watch the sound video and complete the activities for your new sound.

Your new phonics books are still on Tapestry so have a go at reading your book.

Maths

 We are going to be comparing number sentences today. Watch the White Rose video and solve the following questions. Remember to solve the number sentence first before comparing them.

Supporting notes

Addition- Encourage your child to solve any questions they can mentally by looking for relationships with the numbers and using their number bonds to support. If they are not confident with this yet, they can use the count on method.

Subtraction – Encourage your children to solve any questions mentally by counting back and using their known facts to support this. If they are not confident with this yet, they can use the counting back method using  a number line ( or counters if they haven’t secured a number line)
