Before Easter we had a look at bees. Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to do this, there are several ideas that you can try today.
Can you make a bee?
Be creative - Can you recycle some packaging? Maybe an old egg box or some scrap paper? Have you got some craft materials left over? Maybe you can use some wool or fabric? Several of you have demonstrated your finger knitting skills in Forest School, can you create your bee this way?
Maybe you will draw or paint your bee or possibly even dress up as a bee! Can you make yourself some wings and a headband maybe?
If you would like to find out some more about bees there are some links below that take you to some information and activities at the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
The first one gives you an introduction to bees where you can have a go at labelling the different parts of a bee and learn some key facts.
In the activities in the above link you will see there is a chance for you to make a bee mobile. The template is here if you would like to try making it.
As always it would be great to see what you come up with.
You can share on Tapestry (Years R and 1), via the School's Twitter feed or by emailing the school.
Don't forget to put Forest School in the subject line and please remember our online safety rules.
