In this lesson, you are going to write a newspaper article about your new and exciting archaeological discovery ... the mysterious skull!  Use your fictional animal from yesterday to describe the shape of the skull and the teeth. Why do scientists think it was a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore? How can they tell from the type of teeth the mystery animal has? To help you, please look at the following:
