Today we'll be thinking about what different people would have
done during The Great Fire of London.

Maths

- Watch the video ‘Counting faces on 3D shapes’ on the Year 2 page.
- Complete questions 1-6.
- Extension: Have a go at the problem solving and reasoning questions.

Phonics/SPaG
|
- Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break
|
- Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

- Today we’ll be thinking about what different people did during the Great Fire of London and how they might have felt.
- Come and join us for a lesson but also for a catch up and to ask any question you have.

English

- Join your class zoom to discuss all the different things people did during and after the Great Fire of London.
- Pick two of the people who experienced the fire and create a mind map of all the different things they might have done during or after the Great Fire.
- Think about how your chosen person might have felt doing their different actions and add feelings to your mind map. Use the emotions wheel to help you.

SPaG
|
Today there are 2 SPaG activities.
Everyone needs to have a go at Activity 1.
- Practise the spellings following the instructions in the table.
- Fill in the missing words in the sentences using the spelling you have practised.
Activity 2 is optional but if you have received a text telling you to complete Activity 2 please do.
- Add the suffixes –er and –est to the root word.
- Write a sentence for each set of words.

- Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading
|
- Sign into your Bug Club account and pick a book to read.
- Read your chosen book and complete the activities as you go along.

RE
|
- Watch the video about the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) on Tapestry.
- Watch the stories about the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) on the Year 2 website.
- Create a comic strip of your favourite story.
Remember Muslims believe you shouldn’t draw any Prophets so try to draw your picture without drawing the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) himself.
