Today, we need to revisit our days of the week in order to do our learning well.  Look at the picture below. Can you match the French and English days of the week? You can match them from here and write them into your Home Learning Book or print off a copy (in French Resources), cut them out, match and glue them. It's been a while ... if you not too sure, watch the video below to help you order and pronounce each day. The answer sheet is in the French Resources section.

You will have noticed that days of the week in French don't need a capital letter. However, if you start a sentence with a day of the week, a capital letter is needed e.g. Lundi, je fais de la natation (Monday, I do the swimming).

There are two more phrases we haven't practised for along time: Je mange (I eat) and Je bois (I drink). You will need to know these. Listen to the audio files for support with pronunciation.
