• Think about the time words we used in our recount.
• Try to put the correct time connective in the right sentence.

Topic - enquiry

• What do you already know about the Great Fire of London?
• Can you fill in the first column of the table with your previous knowledge
• Think of some things you would like to find out about the Fire. E.g. how did it start? Did anyone die? What was destroyed in the fire?

Writing

• Read the beginning of our new book ‘The Great Fire of London’
• Look at London in 1666, they didn’t have cameras back then, so we use pictures and recreations to imagine it. Some clever people have even recreated it using something lots of us enjoy - Minecraft! Have a watch below.
• Make a mind map in your book of adjectives and key parts of what London would have looked like.
