Philosophical Question to finish the day!
Yesterday's Q: How do you know if you need to ask someone for help or if you an do something yourself?
Miss Martin: Poor you, Mrs. Hudson! But I have to give you credit for always giving it a go and not letting it phase you! The key element there, is giving it a go first and then when you feel like you've tried everything, I think that's a great time to ask :-). Remember in class we always say that, asking is absolutely a-okay, but it's always important to try other strategies to start with first.
Miss Chapman:
Mrs. Hudson: The area I always need help with is technology! Miss Chapman and Miss Martin are wonderfully gifted in this area. They always know short cuts, that I haven't even thought of. Sometimes they will share with me a top tip, which really helps me, saving precious time. I know I need to improve this area, so I will ask for help, but really try to have a go by myself too, learning from the resilience shown by you lovely year 5s. Having said this, you may have noticed my hair has got thinner, as often I feel I have used all my brain power and have to resort to asking for more definite help again. I feel very proud when I have overcome these stumbling blocks though.
Today's Question: How do you feel when you do something really well and how can this help you when you do something incorrectly?
Spend some time during dinner or at some point in the evening, discussing this with the other people at home! We're sure there will be some interesting responses :-)
