Ask an adult to quiz you on last week’s words. 

Then, look at your new spelling words and start practising them. 

Write a sentence for each word (in your book) just as we have been doing in grammar. Try adding

11:30 am Science Light – What damage can the sun do to our eyes and skin? 

Please open Light-Sun Damage.pdf and follow the lesson. The activity is to make a poster.  We look forward to having some to display on the gallery or on Twitter to show others how to stay safe in the Sun.

1:30pm  PE Cricket - Understanding the importance of fielding when playing a game. 

While learning to play cricket in term 4, it became apparent that many children needed work on throwing and catching to prevent the batter getting in quite so many runs while the ball was thrown without aim, hence not caught, dropped, rolled through legs, etc.   This week we are working on independent throwing and catching skills. Can you do all 7 without dropping the ball?  If you don’t have a ball, a beanbag or sock ball will work.
