• Watch the video explaining about measuring things in centimetres.
• Work through the activities using a ruler in cm to measure things.
• Have a go around your house, choose 10 items and measure how long they are in cm.

10:30 – 10:45

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 5 (p16)– ee sound spelt ey

• Can you be tested on your –er and –est suffixes in the speed spell.
• Look at the spelling zone for this week’s rule. Compete the story using the words from the box.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

•  Watch the video of Miss Williams reading our new story, 'Mary and the Great Fire of London'. Can you spot any story features?
• Watch the bitesize video on direct speech. 
• Find the direct specch on page 6 and 7.
• Write some direct speech of a story about the great fire of London.
• Extension: Have a go at writing specch between two people.

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

Reading

•  Re-read or listen to Chapter 5 from ' The Enchanted Wood'.
