Maths 

• Watch the recap of 3D shapes on the website.
• Recognise the 2D and 3D shapes, labelling the shapes and answer true or false statements.
• Spot the pattern and fill in the gap with the correct shape.
• Sort the objects into shape groups.
• Count the faces and edges on the shapes and answer the questions.
• Read the statements and match the child with the correct shape.

10:30 – 10:45

Break 

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air. 

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 11 (p37) adding the suffix -ful 

• Speed spell words from unit 10. 
• Have a look at the rule in the spelling zone. Read the adjectives carefully.  
• Use the words to complete the blanks in the diary entry. 

11:10 – 12:00

Writing 

• Listen to Chapter 4 of Captain Cat and the Great Pirate Race.
• Remind yourself of what a shape poem is using the slides.
• Pick or draw a picture of a sea monster and label with noun phrases.  

12:00 – 1:00

Lunch 

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

Reading 

• Re read or listen again to Chapter 21 ‘Silky’s Clock is very Clever’.
• Draw a picture of Dame Snap’s school and label all the places the children could hide from Dame Snap.

1:30 – 3:00

PE – Balancing 

• Look at the slides explaining the different balances.
• Use the balance cards to have a go at trying the balances yourself.
