Morning Year 4 :-)

Below are your learning challenges for today! Along with your tasks, we have given you a suggested timetable to support you in creating a routine. Remember though, you can adapt these to suit the timetable you have at home!

Word of the day: indulgence

Challenges:

- Find out what it means and write the definition in your own words!
- What is its word class?

- Make a list of synonyms and antonyms

- Can you use it in an interesting sentence?

Choose a book that interests you and read to yourself or to someone in your family.  In your Home Learning pack, there are a variety of questions you could answer with a sibling or a parent. Also attached below is a Check Parent_Reading_Prompts for further support.

In the Home Learning pack, you have a pack of comprehension questions, complete Violet 1. Remember to read the passage carefully and refer back to it when answering the questions.

Take a look at the addition and subtraction challenges in your Home Learning pack. Answer these questions in the maths books sent home.  Don't forget to check all of your answers!

This afternoon would be a good opportunity to explore the wonders that Mrs Holmes has put together in her forest school pack. Take a look at the different activities that interest you and try one out!

Have a super day,
