Good morning Year 3!   

This week is Economic and financial well-being week.  We will start our new PSHE focus, Financial Understanding on Friday. 

Highlights of this week include:  

Monday: A new story- I will not ever never eat a tomato 

Tuesday: Plotting where food comes from on a map  

Wednesday: Bread-making 

Thursday:  Thinking of ideas for your own story: I will not ever never eat a ________  

Friday: Financial understanding in PSHE and then Forest School 

Heads-up:  We are making pizza next Tuesday (30th June). Please find the ingredients list attached. 

8:50am Word of the Day – energy 

Find out what it means.  Write it in your book. 

9:00am  Read to an adult 

Write the short date, book title and pages read in your exercise book. 

Reminder, if you are working on Lexia, you should be using it 15 minutes today as well.

Maths – Attached below is your work for today and tomorrow. You may decide where to stop for today! Complete section 1. Then complete the White Rose questions (section 2). Then return for section 3 - the problem solving.

Ask an adult to quiz you on last week’s words. 

Then, look at your new spelling words and start practising them. 

Remember, if you are doing Spellzone words, you need to log onto Spellzone and complete activities there.

1:15pm  PE - Gym – It's all about the beans!
