Maths

• Today we are starting Economic and Financial Well-being Week with a bit of a money recap! Look at the coins we have learnt – can you find any round the house?
• Watch the video reminding you of making amounts and doing so with different combinations.
• Have a go totalling all of the jars of money.
• Can you think of four different ways to make the two amounts?
• Next quick video is all about finding the change for when we buy something at the shop, and we haven’t given the right amount of money.
• Have a go at giving the change for these items.

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 10 (p33) words ending in -al

• Speed spell using words from unit 10.
• Look at the spelling zone, read the words.
• Choose the words which have 3 syllables – clap them out to help you. Mag-i-cal.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

•  Listen to Chapter 1 of Captain Cat and the Great Pirate Race.
• Read the page talking about Great Pirate Race and highlight any information about the race.
• Plan your Great Pirate Race poster by answering all the questions in the table. You will need to be creative with some of your answers as we don’t know all the answers, especially how to enter and what you win.

Lunch

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

1:00 – 1:30

Reading

• Read or listen to Chapter 19 ‘Moon-Face gets into a Fix’.
• Discuss if you think Moon-Face is a good friend or not.

1:30 – 3:00

PSHE

• Create a family using the cards and allocate household chores. Think about why you’ve allocated them the way you have.
• Think of some chores you could do around the house. Discuss with your family if you should do these for money or for kindness.

PE – Dance

• It’s the next episode of the pirates today – On Pirate’s Island
• Follow the instructions
