Transition

Before you begin today's learning we have uploaded a Class Transition Booklet. You may choose to look through this booklet to familiarize your self with: 

- The Class Teacher 

- The Class Teaching Assistant

- To help prepare yourself for Year 5 

- To remind yourself of the school routine

Philosophical question:

Would you rather be a mountain or a river? Why?

Word of the day: dilapidated

Challenges:   

• Find out what it means and write the definition in your own words!   

•  What is its word class?   

• How many syllables does it have (clap each syllable to help you)? 

•  Make a list of synonyms and antonyms   

•  Can you use it in an interesting sentence?  

• Are you able to use it, appropriately, when you are speaking or in any of your writing opportunities?

Reading:Pick a book or other reading material of your choice and spend some time enjoying reading.

Maths: This week we are going to be solving a mystery. There are two levels of difficulty.
