Maths

• There is an alphabet at the top of each page showing each letter has a number.
• Answer the addition and subtraction questions to find out which letter matches each number sentence.
• Can you find the word that the letters make for each piece of treasure?

10:30 – 10:45

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Unit 14 (p47) suffix – tion

• Speed spell with the words from unit 12.
• Have a go at the spelling zone for this week adding the suffix -tion after watching this week’s video.
• Complete the spelling zone activities.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

• Watch a couple of pirate stories read by Miss Wilson or Miss Williams on the Year 2 Remote Learning Books and Audio page.
• Can you write your own pirate story now?
• Read through ’how to make a good story’ and use the pirate vocabulary to help you.

12:00 – 12:30

Lunch

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

Reading

• Write a few sentences about your favourite land from the story ‘The Enchanted Wood’.
• Explaining why it was your favourite land.

Tonbridge Treasure hunt

• Attend Pirate School via video to find out your pirate name and a few pirate sayings.
• Then, this arrrtfernoon you challenge is to go walking around Tonbridge on a treasure hunt! Read your first clue and then head off to start your treasure hunt.
• What or WHO can you find along the way until you find the X that marks the spot?
