Monday 20th April

Good Morning Year 2, Happy Monday!

We hope you all had a good weekend and are ready to do some more super learning today.

Miss Williams and Miss Wilson are so excited to talk to some of you today and if it isn't today, we'll speak to you soon!

Word of the day: drought

What does it mean? Can you look it up? What type of word do you think it is; noun, adjective, verb or adverb?

Here is your suggested timetable for today. Remember all of the activities are in the pdf document underneath and we don't expect you to print them out. You have your books to write in. The times are only a suggestion too.

English Book

Today we need to look at our Great Fire of London book. It is by an author called Emma Adams and has some amazing illustrations by James Weston Lewis that will help us to imagine London in 1666 and what happened in the fire.

Miss Wilson has recorded herself reading you the start to the book as part of our lesson today.

Because of copyrights it is a private video so you need the password: Year2sussex to be able to watch it.
