Look below. this week we are recapping some of what we have learnt so far being in Year 4!

English :

Welcome to a new term! Before we dive into our new book I would like us to look at the question for this term.

'What lurks below?'

What does that question mean to you? What picture does that conjure in your mind?

Today I would like you to answer that question. You can answer it in any way you like!

Some ways you could display your learning:

- Painting what lurks below

- Acting our what might be 'below'

- Interview of someone who has been 'below'

- Writing a paragraph describing what might be below

These are just some ideas to get your mind thinking about this terms Enquiry.  I wonder whether by the end of this topic you will be thinking in the same way? Keep your piece of learning safe so you can look back on it!

Enquiry

Watch the video about Austin and his butterfly. As you do, think about WHY you might be watching. How could it be connected to your learning today? Talk to someone else about what you have learned. Now read the Lesson Plan to find out why you have just watched it.
