2:30-3:00pm Music

Our song for this term is taken from the musical Oliver!

In this scene Oliver is in an orphanage and about to be served dinner/gruel.

Gruel is a thin liquid food of oatmeal boiled in milk or water.

Imagine eating only that 3 times a day!  No wonder Oliver and the other orphans are dreaming of other glorious foods.

Today’s goal: Use the wordbank to help you understand the lyrics.
