Here is your suggested timetable for the day

Maths

9-9:45

  • Watch the video ‘Make equal groups - sharing' on today’s page.
  • Complete the picture sharing questions.
  • Practically solve the sharing questions.
  • Have a go at the problem solving and reasoning questions.

Remember to explain/prove how you got to your answer.

  • Extension: Solve the division questions practically.

Phonics/SPaG

9:45 – 10

  • Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break

10 - 10:40

  • Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

10:40 – 11:10

  • Come and join us for a catch up, online lesson or to ask any questions you might have.

English

11:10 – 11:45

  • Discuss what a diary entry is with someone in your house.
  • Look through the PowerPoint explaining what the features of a diary entry are.
  • Look at the model labelling of a diary entry to spot all the features.
  • Label the features of a diary entry on the ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ diary entry.

SPaG

11:45 - 12

  • Read through all the rules for adding the suffix –ed.
  • Turn the verbs in the table to past tense following –ed rules.
  • Use your knowledge of the –ed rules to turn the next table of words into past tense.

Lunch

  • Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading

  • Listen the story ‘The Proudest Blue’ by Ibtihaj Muhammad.
  • Discuss:  Is it ever right to make fun on people who look different or dress differently to us?
