Happy Monday! Hope you all had a lovely and relaxing weekend.  Can you believe that there are only 2 weeks left to the end of term!  Let’s see some super effort for these last two weeks.  That’s only 10 days of learning.  You can do it! 

8:50am  Word of the Day – compare 

Find out what it means.  Write it in your book. 

9am  Joe Wicks PE workout, Cosmic Kids Yoga or GoNoodle (YouTube)

9:30am  Read to an adult 

Write the short date, book title and pages read in your exercise book.

From now until the end of term, the learning on the day pages will be the age-related Year 3 learning.  

However, as we know you are at all different stages of learning about Time, we have set up a separate Time review page at the bottom of all the day pages on the Year 3 homepage.  The activities there are to support you at whatever stage of learning you know you need to work on.

Ask an adult to quiz you on last week’s words. 

Then, look at your new spelling words and start practising them. 

Write a sentence for each word (in your book) just as we have been doing in grammar. Try adding

In our bid to improve fielding and get the batter out, we are going to continue working on throwing and catching skills.  Today the focus is on close fielding with an underarm throw with aim and a catching stance to improve hand-eye coordination.
