7 Times Table and Division Facts
Practice counting forwards and backwards in 7s. Can you quiz yourself on the 7 times tables? Can you convert those multiplications into divisions? Take a look at this video to practice the inverse operation. There is a quiz at the beginning followed by a video. Grab a piece of paper and a pencil to work your answers out.
Have a go at the White Rose worksheet. Remember, when you multiply by 10, you are making the number 10 times bigger. On a place value grid, you can move the digits one space to the left to show the number getting 10 times bigger.
Finished? Would you like a challenge? Have a go at working out the first challenge called 'Row of coins'. The document is in the learning resources.
Maths 3 Minute Times Tables Challenge
Have a go at the 3 minute times table challenge, just like we do in class. Make sure you practice your 11 times table before you have a go at the first worksheet. There are 3 sheets in the document below, they are to be completed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, just as we do in school.

Writing
Remember, our writing by the end of this week will focus on how the way we listen to music has changed over time. We could use the time connectives shown here. However, our writing will begin to sound a bit like a list e.g. First, there was the phonograph. Then there was the gramophone. Next, there was ... This does not provide much information or interest for the reader. We could use FRONTED ADVERBIALS to provide more information about HOW, WHEN and WHERE events have taken place. Because we are focusing on music listening over time, which type of fronted adverbial do you think would be most helpful to us? Discuss and give your reasons to someone else. The answer is on your Lesson Plan (in Learning Resources).
