Make your own nature paintbrush
You will need:
To collect some materials – remember not to pick anything that is growing but use leaves and twigs that have already fallen. You could also recycle some different packaging such as egg boxes or use scraps of material or paper.
Some string/wool
A stick
- Use your wool to attach a selection of materials to the end of the stick. The stick is the handle and the materials are the bristles.
- Different materials will create different textures and patterns, so you might like to create a selection of brushes.
- Don’t forget to test your brush – what will you paint a picture of?
