World Book Day fun and to show off your

book inspired costumes laugh

 

 

Here is your suggested timetable for the day

World Book Day!

  • Check out the Reception and KS1 teachers’ favourite stories and shelfies on Tapestry.
  • Choose two of the World Book Day activities.

Phonics/SPaG

  • Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break

  • Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

Class Zoom

2AW – 10:40

2EB – 11:45

  • Join your class Zoom today to show off your wonderful book inspired costumes and have some World Book Day fun!
  • Come and join us for a lesson but also for a catch up and to ask any question you have.

Maths

  • Create a poster sharing as much as you know about your chosen 3D shape.
  • Use your Maths from the past 2 weeks to help you!

SPaG

  • Practise the spellings following the instructions in the table.
  • Fill in the missing words in the sentences using the spelling you have practised.

Lunch

  • Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading

  • Read your favourite book.
  • Make a mind map or a video explaining why it is your favourite book.

PSHE

  • Write down all the things you are excited about when returning back to school.
  • One small pieces of paper write down any worries you have about returning back to school and bring these with you on Monday to pop them into our new worry jar.
