Philosophical question: Is it ever alright to lie?

 

Here's a suggested timetable for the day.

9:30 – 10:30 

Maths 

  • Have a go at the mixed word problems.
  • Start on the Mild sheet and if you’re finding them too simple move onto Spicy.
  • If you want a challenge move onto Hot.
  • Read the problems carefully, looking for clues and numbers.

10:30 – 10:45 

Break 

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air. 

10:45 – 11:10 

SPaG - Adjectives grammar focus 

  • Find all the adjectives in the sentences.  
  • There are some blank spaces in the sentences. Think of your own adjectives to describe the nouns in those sentences. 

11:10 – 12:00 

Writing 

  • Last video to show what we are going to write for our last section of writing. 
  • Have a go at filling in the last column of your table – the fun fair. So, think of all the rides there could be. 
  • Under a new heading in your book or the last section on the leaflet template write about the best rides that are at Dull-on-Sea’s funfair! 

12:00 – 1:00 

Lunch 

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game! 

1:00 – 1:30 

Reading 

  • Read or listen to Chapter 14 ‘The Funny Old Saucepan Man’.
  • Discuss how you would feel if you were talking to Old Saucepan man?

1:30– 3:00 

RE 

  • Watch the videos about Islam and the Qur’an.
  • Read or listen to the story ‘The woman at the gates of Makkah’.
  • Have a look at the questions about the story, discuss how you would answer them with someone in your house.

3:00 

End of the day 

Enjoy spending some down time with your family.
