Haaaappy Friday everybody!

 

Today is very exciting as we are all dressing up in a way which best expresses ourselves.   If you feel like a superhero today, why not wear a cape? If you feel bright and cheery today,  why not try to wear as many different colours as you can?

Make sure you have completed the Maths activity before the zoom and
remember to bring your Maths book with you to the zoom as well as a pencil.

You will also need some space to do some workout moves yes

Here is your suggested timetable for the day

Maths

9-9:45

Before our zoom you will need to:

  • draw a table like the one shown.
  • draw the start of your pictogram.
  • draw the start of your block diagram.

Phonics/SPaG

9:45 – 10

  • Head to Tapestry to find your group’s assigned phonics/SPaG activity.

Break

10 - 10:40

  • Grab a healthy snack and get outside for some fresh air for a run around, a kick around or a bit of fresh air.

Class Zoom

10:40 – 11:10

  • Today we’ll be having our Maths lesson on Zoom. Come and join us for a lesson but also for a catch up and to ask any question you have.

SPaG

11:10 – 11:25

  • Have a go at the adverb spotting quiz.
  • Write as many suitable adverbs as you can to match the activity shown.
  • Extension: Write some sentences using your adverbs and the verbs given.

English

11:25 - 12

  • Finish writing your set of instructions making sure to use your carefully chosen time words and imperative verbs from the other day. Take a look at the model write to help you.
  • Check your writing and challenge yourself to add adverbs and extend your sentences if you didn’t yesterday.

Lunch

12 - 1

  • Enjoy some lunch and get outside for fresh air.

Reading

  1. – 1:30
  • Read ‘Grandad’s Secret Giant’ or listen to Miss Williams read it.
  • Design a mural for Sussex Road Primary School.

P.E

1:30 – 2:30

  • Have a go at all the yoga poses slowly and calmly. Take the time to check you are doing the poses correctly.
  • Chose 5-10 poses to make your own yoga sequence. You should hold each pose for 10-30 seconds and slowly move into each new pose.

R.E

2 :30- 3

  • Read through the PDF about Mosques.
  • Have a look at the labelled picture of a mosque to learn about the different parts of a mosque.
  • Watch the Bitesize videos about Muslim prayer and mosques.
  • Design your own mosque and label it.
