• Find out what it means and write the definition in your own words!

• How many syllables does it have (clap each syllable to help you)? 

•  Make a list of synonyms and antonyms   

•  Can you use it in an interesting sentence?  

• Are you able to use it, appropriately, when you are speaking or in any of your writing opportunities?

Reading: Spend some time reading your own book

Maths:

Spend a few minutes  today completing an activity that has been set for you on Mymaths.

Well it's Friday, it's Maths so you know what that means. Friday Family Challenge. Grab someone from your family, Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister, Cat, Dog or Rabbit and see which of these problems you can solve together. As always remember that they get trickier as you move along. You can find the challenges below in the documents section. If you finish quickly, then there are always the challenges from Monday's documents or some mymaths to catch up on.

How do Hindus pray and worship?

But first, a challenge. Can you rearrange each set of letters to make a word spelling out a Hindu artefact used in puja (worship)? Answers can be found in your Lesson Plan.

Look at the two pictures below. One is a home shrine and one is a mandir. What do they have in common? How are they different? If you can, discuss the pictures with a learning partner.
