Read the text all about Fairtrade! Answer the questions on the sheet. It might be helpful to underline key words in the questions to remind you of what to look for.

This term, you are going to be learning the names of different animals and some descriptive words and phrases linked to animals. 

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2RPKMJmSp0  Play the music Le Carnaval des Animaux by Camille Saint-Saens. Saint-Saens was a French composer who was born in Paris in 1835. This piece of music is very famous and is made up of 14 movements (different sections of music), each one representing a different animal. What animals do you think of while you listen to the music? C'est fantastique? C'est nul? Read French Lesson Plan 1.

Throughout this unit, use your Core Language resource OFTEN. These are key words and phrases you are aiming to learn, say and understand over the course of the term.
