When you are out and about on walks this weekend, keep your eyes out for plants which disperse their seeds in different ways. Can you find one of each?
Seeds caught on the wind – dandelion, sycamore
Seeds eaten by animals – berry, acorn
Seeds catch a lift on an animal – bur or sticky weed
If you find any seeds, collect them ready for Monday’s Science lesson.
* Photos welcome of you covered in sticky weed! 😉
You are an animal after all!
*Or perhaps a photo of you blowing/being the wind to scatter dandelion seeds.
