Today I would like us to focus on your teeth, specifically how you brush them!  After doing some research, I found out that it is estimated that up to a quarter of young children have tooth decay. This is caused by children not brushing their teeth regularly and properly!  Brushing our teeth is SO important! Surprisingly, not many people know how to brush their teeth properly. I wonder when you brush if you clean every part of each of your teeth?

Before we go any further, I would like you to go and brush your teeth. Set a timer, how long did it take you?

How do you know if you have brushed our teeth properly?

Look at these video clips:

Today, just make notes about what you have found out. Don’t limit yourself to these video clips, why not do some additional research on google?  Also, go back to your toothbrush, brush your teeth again but looking in a mirror as you do so! Follow what you have learnt in the videos!   On Monday, we will collating our information to raise awareness!

Remember when you are using the internet, be safe and sensible.

The Islamic holy month of Ramadan began last night. Ramadan is a very important time in the Islamic calendar, and Muslims all over the world will be preparing to take part. This year's Ramadan will be a bit different, as the coronavirus outbreak means that many people will not be able to visit friends and family, or their local mosque. This is because of worldwide 'lockdowns' which are helping to stop the spread of the disease.

On the second link, scroll down to '7 things you need to know about Ramadan' to find out more about what Muslims traditionally do during this month, and why it is so important to them.
