Word of the day: sacrifice
What does it mean? What is a sacrifice?
How many sounds does it have?
Have you ever made a sacrifice?
Philosophical question: What are you most proud of?
Miss Wilson: I am most proud of you, Year 2. You are all doing so well with this very strange situation. We all find it hard being at home sometimes at the moment but you're being fantastic doing all your learning and being helpful at home.
Miss Williams: I am also soooo proud of Year 2. It has been lovely to hear about and see all your amazing home learning. It's not always easy working at home but you're all giving it a go and I am so proud of you for that. You all definitely deserve a break now.

If you are looking for something to do over half term, there is a competition to design the National Book Tokens that you could join.
I have attached the design form underneath and when you are finished, click this link to send it off.
This is an extra-ordinary time and one day you might want to look back on all of the incredible memories you made at home with your family. Just something else you could do over half term is to create a Time Capsule. Have a look below and see if you fancy it!
